Freebie Deebie Day!

Hey Cheapo! What's the Freebie Deebie today?

Cheapo has found a Freebie Deebie that will last until January 17th - and you can use it as little or as much as you want - depending on your "free" addiction.
McFrug is sort of an every day user.

First of all, this freebie pertains to those who shop at Whether or not you play the drug store game...what? What do you mean you don't KNOW what that is? Okay...forget the freebie and first go goog the drug store game. There is a multitude of info on the web about it, though one of McFrug's favorite CVS game sites is Erica's I Heart CVS. (click on CVS for Newbies up at the top)

Ok, back to topic. So I was saying, this freebie is a printable coupon for $3.00 off any CVS Brand Purchase. You can print this until your heart's content, though remember it expires on January 17th, 2009.

What can you get for free you ask? Cheapo's main goal of this deal is to buy items that would normally just be thrown away. If you really stop and think about it, does it seem practical to spend money on items that just go in to the garbage...such as tissues, toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towels, baby wipes, etc.? You might as well blow your nose on a dollar bill, wad it up and toss it - kind of the same concept, right?

Here's your chance to stock up! If you use this coupon every day from now until the 17th, you will be able to get $18 worth of free household items...maybe even more depending on the sales! So far, McFrug has gotten 4 rolls of paper towels, 2 4 packs of toilet paper, 2 rolls of plastic food wrap (Buy one get one half off this week) and 2 boxes of tissues..oh..and 1 bag of gummy worms. The ultimate plan here is to have enough of these items as to not have to spend money on them in the near future.

If you find a great deal with this coupon, leave a comment and share with the rest of us! One by one we can help each other be a Cheapo in a non-cheapo world. *wink*

Great info, Cheapo!! Question: Can I use more than of those $3 CVS brand coupon per transaction? Love the blog idea, I'll be a regular here!

Tanya - While printing out 20 of these and using them all at the same time might raise an eyebrow or two, some CVS stores may take more than one per transaction. It depends on the store and which cashier you have. (some give dirty looks, others cheer you on)

The Coupon does state "Coupon cannot be combined with any other CVS/pharmacy coupons", though I have used them along side of others in the past.

Though I can't speak for the actions of YOUR store, I'll feel the waters in mine and get back with you.

Thanks for stopping by!
