McFrug's Walmart Shopping Style

A few years ago, back in college, I was required to take a summer art class (which was a total BLAST by the way). Among the requirements was an assignment that involved yarn, to make an Indian Bowl or something of the sorts. After given the project, my mind started racing through all of the art supplies I already had at home: Glue? Check. Paint? Check. Yarn...um...nada. Which meant, I would have to stop by Walmart on the way home to pick up a skein (or 2.) At that point, the instructor walked in to the room with a huge bag of yarn scraps, telling us we could use them for the bowls. I said, "Oh, thank you so much! You just saved me $100!" She looked at me with a half-cocked grin as if thinking, "What sort of yarn do YOU use?" I went on to ask her, "How often do you go to Walmart for only one thing, but end up spending at least 100 dollars? You just saved me a bunch of money!" We laughed, but think about it. How true is that?

Nowadays, instead of spending $100, Cheapo tries to SAVE $100 - well, maybe not 100 dollars, but as much as possible! My total this week went like this:
