"Get ready to dim the lights and raise the curtain – Mickey Mouse is in the house and he’s setting the stage for fun - just for you! But first he’ll need to find some amazing acts to put in his show. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald all head off on an adventure and find some great friends to help them out. You’ll get to sing along to cool songs, jump out of your seat to dance to the beat and laugh out loud with Buzz and Woody from Toy Story, Cinderella, Tigger, and more of your Disney friends at this show-stopping, zany, on-stage adventure coming right to your hometown!"
And believe it or not, Disney Live! is coming to Chicago...THIS weekend, for three days only!!!
Oct. 23 - 25th at Rosemont Theatre
First, opening night tickets are only $15.00!!
Second, you can now save $5.00 per ticket to any of the Saturday or Sunday shows. (excludes opening night, front row and VIP seats)
Just enter the code "MOM" at Ticketmaster - in the MC Promotions line.
This past weekend, Maureen Morrison at Feld Entertainment, generously sent me and my family to Moline, IL to preview the newest in Feld's line of shows,
Disney Live! Rockin' Road Show! Oh.My.Goodness! Is your family ready for some high energy, interactive, fast paced entertainment? With eye pleasing costumes and catchy tunes, the Disney characters had everyone dancing in the aisles - adults included!
Managing to touch all of the senses, Disney Live! provided an array of actions to make you feel as if you are "included" in the show. Everything from smoke to bubbles to confetti to the giant animated screen draws you right up on to the stage (If I say *too* much here, I would be a great, big, fat show spoiler - and I definitely don't want to be that!)
As you can see, Mickey and his crew run into many of his Disney friends during his search for talent show participants. With every new character that hopped onto the stage, the little ones in the audience screamed, pointed, laughed and waved. Technically, this show is geared towards children of about seven years old. Though, everyone from the tiniest of babies to grandparents appeared to enjoy this musical adventure. I mean, come on, who can resist bouncing along with Tigger? Even the little nugget that was sitting in front of me (who couldn't have been more than nine months old) was just having himself a grand ole' time. On the other hand, my 10 year old son found appreciation in the effects, lighting and talent going on all around us.
If you really want to feel "involved" in this particular show, I would suggest sitting somewhere on the floor, center. Not that you wouldn't have a great time anywhere else; this is just where a few of the "surprises" tend to happen. The MC of the show, Chris Chatman (who my son immediately recognized from Sunday School Musical), does a fantastic job of including everyone in the audience in some way or another. Careful, he may even pull you AND your parents up onto the stage for a little "performance" of your own!
Would you like a chance to experience Disney Live! Rockin' Road Show for yourself?

My son loves Pluto. I would love to come to Rosemont on Friday for the show. I haven't been there for a show in 20 years since high school. It would be such a fun way to surprise the kids.
Just became a follower
I LOVE Ariel

I'm following you!
We love Phineas and Ferb - granted they are not part of the show - but that show is so funny.
My kids see these shows advertised - we haven't taken them yet - but it such fun.
Thanks
