Once again, today was Five Star's 10% off day. In case you are wondering, each week, Five Star flip flops it's promotional days from Monday to Tuesday. For example, next week, 10% off day will be Tuesday and Triple Coupon Day will be Monday. If you are local and want to participate in the savings, be sure to clip the coupons from The Market each week.

Many of you are familiar with my past rantings about the customer service at this particular branch. In turn, here are the basics and/or coupon deals that I found. (I now ONLY get the bare minimum from this store. The things I do to save money, ya know?)

• Nunn Better Cat Food: $2.99 (sorry kitty, you get generic this week)
• Pedigree Breath Busters: $2.19 - $1.00 Q = $1.19
• 3 Ziploc Bags: 3/$5.00 - $1.25/2 and $.55 Homemade Simple Mailer = $3.20 for THREE

• 2 Deli Chicken legs (per request of my son): $2.78 (UGH! Cheap-o-nomics Lesson #350 - SHOP ALONE whenever possible)
• 1 lb. Eckrich Deli Virginia Ham: $3.77
• Success Brown Rice: $1.89 - $1.00 Q = $.89
• 2 1/2 lb. pkgs. Lorraine deli Swiss Cheese: $5.63 - (2) $1.00 on 1/2 lb. Q's = $3.63 lb.
• 2 Oscar Meyer Bacon: $5.98 - $1.00/2 Q = $4.98 for TWO
• Celery:$1.19
  
• Log Cabin Syrup: (to go with all of those PANCAKES) $2.99 - $1.00 Q = $1.99
  
• Hormel Completes: $1.99 - $.75 Q = $1.24
• Romaine Lettuce: $.85
• Marcal Napkins: $2.29 - $1.00 Q = $1.29
